"Raising public awareness of the importance of Cabezo Gordo for the municipality of Torre-Pacheco and the Campo de Cartagena region is one of the objectives of this activity, as well as showing biotic, landscape, paleontological and cultural values ​​at the population, especially children and young people, in addition to raising awareness about the selective collection and recycling of waste, cleaning the waste that is polluting the place, and encouraging participation, associationism and environmental volunteering, are the objectives that we set ourselves when organizing these days ", according to Rosique.
The programmed activities begin at 9 o'clock in the morning, with the organization, distribution of materials and explanation by the organization of the guidelines to follow, at 11 o'clock there will be a stop for lunch, and then the planting will take place of a total of 200 pines, on the southern slope of Cabezo Gordo, with the aim of giving life to this space.
The registered people can also make a guided tour of the Cabezo Gordo, and to finish, those interested can make a spiral of giant stones, Land Art.
