This morning, the Local Development Councilor, Rosalía Rosique and the Councilor for Employment, Inmaculada C. Martínez, inaugurated the third course that is held this year in Torre-Pacheco, "Manipulator of Fruits and Vegetables."
This course is subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and promoted by the Torre-Pacheco City Council, through the Department of Employment and Local Development, and is the third edition to be held this year in Torre-Pacheco.
A total of 23 people, mostly unemployed, participate receiving training applicable in jobs related to the agro-food sector, with a duration of 10 hours.
Araceli Olmo, graduated in veterinary medicine, is in charge of teaching this course whose contents are based on the following modules: General about food and health;
Contamination of food in the handling of fruits and vegetables;
Preventive measures, and its legal regulations.
The Councilor for Employment, wanted to highlight the importance of training and retraining, encouraging all stakeholders to go to the Department of Employment and know the great variety of courses scheduled.
