The Department of Sports organized for the first time and in collaboration with sports clubs and associations linked to sport in the town of Torre-Pacheco, the "First Fair Sports Torre-Pacheco 2016".

Day celebrated the start of the 2016/2017 season with all sports agents, users and neighbors, in a sports-recreational event, a unique opportunity to publicize and promote grassroots sport and competition.

A hot day where clubs and local authorities created a meeting place and entertainment in which young and old, enjoyed the most of the activities planned, achieving educational, recreational, recreational and social purposes through sports.

The squares in the center of the town welcomed most sports that can be practiced throughout the year all over the city: Soccer, cycling, golf, football, taekwondo, boxing, basketball, airsoft, tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, model airplanes, swimming, racquetball, athletics, handball, car racing, mountain biking, colombicultura, calisthenics, trial, boxing, bowling, sports clubs, etc .. a total of 23 sports clubs and associations, in addition to collaboration Sports Roman and Super Cash donating prizes and gifts.

Torre-Pacheco Radio entertained all morning with music and live interviews to representatives of each club and / or association, promoting grassroots sport in our town.

More than 4 hours, in which the elite athlete internationally, Roldan, Worship Garcia read out an emotional sport manifesto addition to tour its inception, stressed the values ​​and good habits that conveys sport encouraging children and youth to approach clubs and sports.

The Director General of Sports, Alonso Gómez visited the fair, using the occasion to greet the participating clubs, and inquiring about the reality of each of them, encouraging them to continue locking in the line they develop.

Also, the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio Leon thanked the great work of clubs and associations in our municipality, which have a varied range of sporting activities, giving the opportunity to children and youth sport in our town, not having to move;
