The Ministry of Education and Universities is undertaking expansion works at the Institute of Sabina Mora Secondary Education in the hamlet of Roldan, Torre Pacheco, consisting of the construction of eight new classrooms.
The general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcárcel, today visited the center to monitor the proceedings, which are at 20 percent of its implementation, and reiterated the "commitment of the regional government to improve and expand the institutes".
He recalled that "the works are a response to the commitment of the Ministry with the educational community of Roldan where technicians have been working for several months."
The project has a budget of 863,220 euros, financed by the Community through FEDER funds, and has a completion period of nine months.
The surface enlargement is built on a thousand square meters, of which 887 are useful.
They are building eight new classrooms, four on the ground floor and four on the first, a bathroom and two seminars with direct access.
The work will continue the current aesthetics of the building so that it is fully integrated, finished in red brick on the facade.
