On the occasion of the special police device planned for the weekend, and whose objective is to ensure that the containment measures provided for in the Royal Decree of the State of Alarm are complied with, the Local Police of Torre Pacheco began its deployment on the morning of Saturday 18 by the Pachequero municipality.The agents would soon detect the first offenders, and around 5:00 p.m., at one of the vehicle verification controls carried out on Placido Domingo avenue in Torre Pacheco, they observed a tourism that made a reckless maneuver to try evading the control of the Local Police, getting off the driver and starting to flee, which led to the start of a persecution on foot through the surrounding streets, finally being intercepted and arrested.

The surprise was major when the Local Police, when verifying the personal situation of the fugitive, discovered that he did not have a driving license and that he gave off a strong smell of alcohol, so he was tested for alcohol, yielding a positive result of 0, 72 mg / L.

All this led to the arrest of a 33-year-old individual,neighbor of Torre Pacheco for two crimes against road safety.

The surprise had not yet ended, since when checking the situation of the vehicle the agents found three more people inside, who were administratively denounced for failing to comply with the State of Alarm containment measures.The Local Police continues with the verification points for vehicles and people, and at around 11 pm they establish a police checkpoint on C / Cartagena at the exit towards La Palma-Cartagena, when they observe that a tourism, upon noticing the presence of the control makes a sudden maneuver to avoid it, so two police vehicles start a chase through several streets around the control area, being finally intercepted.

In the verification, the agents observe that there are two people inside who cannot justify their presence on the street, and the driver and companion also have more complaints for failing to comply with the confinement measures in force during the State of Alarm, for which they proceeded to the arrest for a crime of disobedience of an individual of 30 years and another of 25 years.During the 35 days of the State of Alarm, the Local Police has already arrested 5 people and denounced 377 offenders for failing to comply with the restriction measures contained in Rea Decree 463/2020.
