The Councilor for Social Services, María José López, accompanied by the educator, Verónica Alcaraz, presented the workshop on "Domestic Economy and Responsible Consumption", organized by this Department, and aimed at users, to be held in Torre Pacheco, Roldán, Balsicas and Dolores de Pacheco, in order to raise awareness of the expenses that a family can have per month and the need for good money management.
"This is a small two-hour course, in which tips will be provided to save on water or electricity bills, car expenses or the purchase of clothing and complete, as well as food," said the councilor of Social services.
Noting that we must make a responsible consumption that does not lead us to spend above our needs and does not create economic problems, for which it is necessary to know the keys to the control of personal and family economy.
In the Department of Social Services, financial aid is processed that addresses emergency situations with the objective of covering basic needs, the most common being food / hygiene and rent aids, and that is why it is important and necessary to provide of useful tools to manage the money received.
Verónica Alcaraz, will give the workshop with an active methodology promoting reflection and awareness of issues related to the domestic economy and the individual and family budget;
proposing concepts that will be clarified among all the participants discerning their meaning, as well as, will facilitate the reflection on the contents of the session through questions to the group, which will be complemented with the realization of files on the content and sharing.
