In her visual work, Elena Maroto, "part of the reflection of connections, or communication, between vision, the construction of images and memory", according to the artist, in her work she tries mainly to "find those visual metaphors of memory, arriving at them after a period of contextualization and research, works become constellations, giving the spectator the freedom to interpret the stars, to unite those points that form a drawing ".
The City Council of Torre Pacheco through the Department of Culture and framed in the activities of the Municipal Public Library, has scheduled the exhibition "DANCE! Say now a new beginning begins" by the artist Elena Maroto Pérez, until February 22.
With this exhibition the artist invites us to "that journey without direction, that shipwreck, which focuses on the journey, where the present, with the past on its back, knows that there is a future".
The councilman of Culture, Raul Lledó, has highlighted the great visual impact that the viewer will perceive when contemplating the exhibition and invited to its inauguration next Friday, January 18 at 20.00.
The Exhibition can be visited until February 22 in the Exhibition Hall of the Torre Pacheco Municipal Public Library, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, and at other times prior reservation by calling 968578174.
