In order to improve and facilitate the right to decent housing, the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure has launched the Housing Plan of the Region of Murcia 2018-2021, which seeks to contribute to the increase of the housing stock of rent and the promotion of urban and rural rehabilitation and regeneration.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 14, at the City Council of Torre Pacheco, an informative meeting was held on the aids included in the Housing Plan 2018-2021, by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the general director of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing, José Antonio Fernández, and the Town Planning, Environment and Agriculture councilor of Torre Pacheco City Council, Alberto Galindo, and who also had the assistance of municipal technicians.
For its implementation, this plan has about 80 million euros in public aid, of which more than 47 will affect the Region of Murcia, with subsidy lines aimed at both the rental and purchase of housing for young people and construction for people with disabilities or those over 65 years of age, improvement of the conservation and energy efficiency of buildings and renovation of urban centers or rural areas of municipalities.
For more information about the Housing Plan 2018-2021, interested parties can contact the Town Planning Department of the Torre Pacheco City Council, and also the Housing Office of the Department of Social Services, where they will resolve any doubts and report on the Aid included in the Plan.
