11 young people have completed the course DINAMIZATION OF FREE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH, given by the Municipality of Torre Pacheco and aimed at applicants registered in the Youth Guarantee System, an initiative that aims to facilitate young people's access to the labor market.
The activity, coordinated by the Department of Employment and Local Development, has been developed in the Casa de la Radio, in combination with recreational-educational spaces of the municipality.
Officially recognized as a Certificate of Professionalism, subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the European Social Fund, with a total of 310 hours of training, began on April 24, and has allowed its participants to acquire skills in the free time organization applying group animation techniques, focusing on education in values ​​and taking care of security measures and risk prevention.
The Councilor for Local Development, Rosalía Rosique, accompanied by the councilor for Social Services and Equality, Verónica Martínez, closed last Friday, June 29, the training, encouraging young people to take advantage of this training in the search for employment.
The training will be completed with a module of professional non-work practices, developed in companies of the sector for 160 hours that will allow to apply in the real field the received lessons.
