The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by the Councilor for Education and Youth, Conchi Martínez, wanted to welcome in the Hall of Plenary Session the students, both French and Spanish, during this week, a linguistic exchange, in the town.
It is the third consecutive year that the Center of Education of the Virgin of the Pasico, makes an exchange with this French center, this time a total of 14 students are hosted by Torre Pacheco families of students of the Centers Virgen del Pasico and Pasico II.
The institute Jean Paul II is a teaching center located in the city of Compiègne, 80 km north of Paris.
It has more than 3000 students after the merger of two centers in 2015, from nursery levels to Vocational Training.
A very intense week where they will know the day to day of a Spanish family, and they will also have an approach to the educational system, since they will attend some days to class.
In addition, to know a little more about Torre-Pacheco, you will also visit Cartagena, Murcia and La Manga.
The students of Torre-Pacheco have already been exchanging in France, with the families of the young people they now host, being a very rewarding experience for all.
